Men's and Women's Soccer Sweep AMCC Athlete of the Week Honors

ERIE, Pa – Penn State Behrend soccer players Alex Bilka (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley), Caitlin Caldwell (Belle Vernon, PA/Belle Vernon), Anthony Crivelli (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley), and Chris Ralph (Murrysville, PA/Franklin Regional) have earned AMCC Athlete of the Week honors.

Bilka was named women's Offensive Athlete of the Week. She scored four of the 10 goals for the Lions during the AMCC Championships. She scored two goals in the semifinals, including the game winner and one on a penalty kick against Mount Aloysius. Bilka then tallied five points in the title game with two goals and one assist for the Lions' sixth AMCC crown.

Women's Defensive Athlete of the Week, Caitlin Caldwell, held opponents to a total of nine shots in two games during the AMCC Tournament. The sophomore helped Behrend earn their ninth shutout in the semifinals against Mt. Aloysius and then only allowed three shots in the championship game to win the AMCC title.

On the men's side, Anthony Crivelli was named Offensive Player of the Week. He provided the spark in the Lions' offense, helping his team capture the AMCC men's soccer title. He tallied five goals, including the game-winner, in both victories. In a 3-2 semifinal win over La Roche, Crivelli netted two goals on three shots. In a 4-0 shutout against Medaille in the finals, he scored on each shot he took, tallying his second career hat trick.

Freshman goalkeeper Chris Ralph garnered Defensive Player of the Week. He was a brick wall for Behrend in the AMCC tournament as he helped the program capture their eighth men's conference title. He made nine saves, including a shutout win over Medaille in the championship game. He currently holds conference-best GAA (0.55), save percentage (.831), wins (15), goals allowed (10), and is tied for most shut-out victories (9).
