Mastovich, Belack Named AMCC Athletes of the Week

ERIE, Pa. – Andrew Mastovich (Murrysville, PA/Franklin Regional) and Olivia Belack (Upper St. Clair, PA/Upper St. Clair) have been named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Players of the Week, announced on Monday.

Mastovich is earning his first AMCC weekly honor as Defensive Player of the Week for men's soccer. The sophomore tallied three goals, including a game-tying and game-winning goal for the Lions (6-3). Mastovich, who scored all three goals off corner kicks, started with his first goal of the season against Geneva on Thursday. He then added a pair of goals in the conference-opening win at Pitt-Greensburg, while holding the Bobcats offense to just two shots.

Belack earned women's soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the first time this season. The senior forward recorded two goals and one assist in a 1-1 week for Behrend (5-4). She assisted the lone goal against Grove City on Wednesday and then tallied a pair of goals in a 3-0 win over Pitt-Greensburg. Her first goal against the Bobcats was a game winner.

The men's and women's soccer teams are back in action tomorrow against D'Youville. Game times are 5 and 7:30 p.m.
