Behrend Continues Lead in AMCC Presidents Cup Standings

ERIE, Pa. – With seven conference championships accumulated through the 2017-18 winter season, Penn State Behrend continues to hold a commanding lead in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Presidents Cup Standings, announced on Friday.

The Lions added men's swimming and diving and men's volleyball championships to the five fall titles (men's golf, women's soccer, men's and women's cross country, women's volleyball). Based on the percentage of possible points calculated by both regular season and post-season finish to provide a weighted measure of success, Behrend is out front with an 87.1 ranking percentage.

Franciscan is in second place with a 63.0 ranking percentage after claiming the women's tennis championship in the fall along with exemplary post-season showings in men's and women's cross country and men's and women's soccer. Mt. Aloysius is a close third with a 59.4 ranking percentage.

The Lions have won 16 of 17 Presidents Cups since the award was initiated in the 2000-2001 academic year.
