AMCC Announces Fall Sportsmanship Team

ERIE, Pa. - The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) announced the All-Sportsmanship Team for Fall 2019.

All institution sport teams which compete for an AMCC championship may select one member from their team who displays good sportsmanship throughout the season to be a member of the All-AMCC Sportsmanship Team. These individuals are selected by vote of their teammates.

Junior Emily Archer (Butler, PA/Butler) represented women's volleyball, sophomore Alex Pol (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) was chosen for men's golf, sophomore Hanna Drozynski (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview) was selected for women's cross country, junior Chris Drozynski (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview) was nominated for men's cross country, and sophomore Hadley Howell (Harborcreek, PA/Harborcreek) was chosen for women's tennis. The teams voted Nick Schwarzel (South Park, PA/South Park) for men's soccer and Catherine Eichenlaub (Wexford, PA/Pine Richland) for women's soccer.

The student-athlete selected must consistently demonstrate a high level of ethical conduct, respect and fair play in both practice and competition, whether on the sidelines or as an active competitor. Such sportsmanship shall be evident toward teammates, coaches, opponents, officials and fans. He/She must also serve as a positive representative of school spirit when a spectator at other teams' sporting events.
