ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend Athletics will have four teams in action this week for the "Blue-White" intersquad scrimmages.

The men's soccer team will compete on Thursday, October 29 at 6:30 p.m. The cross country team and men's water polo scrimmages are on Saturday, starting at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.

The men's soccer scrimmage will be played at the Behrend Stadium. Spectators and fans will be able to watch a livestream with a play-by-play announcer covering the 90-minute competition of Team Brinsky (blue) vs. Team Abraham (white). The Lions added nine freshmen to the existing 19 returning letterwinners from last year's (19-2) squad.

Cross country teams will simultaneously run approximately four kilometers near the Behrend Track and around the upper grass fields over the bridge across from Erie Hall. The livestream of the race will begin at 9 a.m. with a play-by-play announcer conducting interviews and providing details of the race. The men's team showcases three seniors led by Phoenix Myers (Erie, PA/Seneca) and the women will look to reigning AMCC Runner of the Year and individual champion Savanna Carr (Franklin, PA/Franklin Area).

The men's water polo team is in the Junker Center pool on Saturday at 1 p.m. for their intersquad scrimmage. The livestream will include four abbreviated quarters. Behrend has seven newcomers from six different states this season, joining the seven upperclassmen including lone senior Mike Geary (Erie, PA/Mercyhurst Prep).
