AMCC Announces Fall Sportsmanship Teams

ERIE, Pa. - The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) announced the All-Sportsmanship Team for Fall 2021.

All institution sport teams which compete for an AMCC championship may select one member from their team who displays good sportsmanship throughout the season to be a member of the All-AMCC Sportsmanship Team. These individuals are selected by vote of their teammates.

Senior Caroline Upham (Erie, PA/Iroquois) represented women's volleyball and senior Alex Pol (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) was chosen for men's golf for a second time in his career.  

Sophomore Haley Felton (Midway, PA/Fort Cherry) was selected for women's cross country, freshman Emil George (East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick) was nominated for men's cross country, and senior Natalie Denny (Harborcreek, PA/Harborcreek) was chosen for women's tennis.

The teams voted Matthew Romesburg Jr. (Hollsopple, PA/North Star) for men's soccer and Ava Michael (State College, PA/State College) for women's soccer.

The student-athlete selected must consistently demonstrate a high level of ethical conduct, respect and fair play in both practice and competition, whether on the sidelines or as an active competitor. Such sportsmanship shall be evident toward teammates, coaches, opponents, officials and fans. He/She must also serve as a positive representative of school spirit when a spectator at other teams' sporting events.
