Behrend Lions Lead  AMCC Presidents Cup Standings

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend heads into the winter season with a commanding lead in the 2021-22 Presidents Cup Standings. The Lions won four fall Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships to earn 46.25 points out of a possible 50.

The standing are calculated on a percentage of points earned divided by the total possible points. It factors in both regular season and post-season finish to provide a weighted measure of success. Behrend holds a league-high ranking of 0.925 after winning conference title in women's volleyball, men's and women's cross country, and women's soccer.

Penn State Altoona falls in second place with a 68.5 ranking percentage and Alfred State sits a close third with a 62.1 ranking percentage.

The Lions are looking to capture their 19th Presidents Cup since the award was initiated in the 2000-2001 academic year. No award was issued last year due to Covid-19.
