Paula (Skaggs) Woodyard, a graduate of Clear Creek High School in League City, Texas, was a women's basketball star for the blue, white and red. 

In only two seasons of work on the hardwood, Woodyard compiled impressive numbers. She collected 420 rebounds (12th), averaged 10.5 rebounds per game for her career (2nd), and averaged 11.8 rpg in 1985-86 (3rd). In addition, she totaled 25 boards in a single-game in 1985-86. 

Woodyard is also listed among the all-time leaders for career steals with 165 (5th), and assists with 128 (17th). In 1986-87 she worked for 12 steals in a single-game and is still the leader in this category. Woodyard was named Penn State Behrend's Female Athlete of the Year in 1986-87. 

Woodyard graduated from Penn State Behrend in 1987. She is married, has two children and is a certified public accountant in Texas.
