2004 Men's Tennis

The Penn State Behrend men’s tennis team turned in a tremendous 2004 season, winning their second AMCC Championship in program history.  The Lions edged Frostburg State 11-10 for the team title, while Ryan Deimel, Jon Barber and Matt Meyer won individual singles championships. 
 
Behrend finished the year with a 14-7 overall record and posted its first undefeated mark in conference play at 6-0. The Lions swept the postseason honors. Head coach Jeff Barger was named AMCC Coach of the Year, while Ryan Deimel and Matt Meyer were AMCC Player and Newcomer of the Year, respectively.
