2006-07 Swimming and Diving

Both the Penn State Behrend men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams put together great seasons in 2006-07, both earning inaugural AMCC titles.

The men compiled a 7-4 record and scored a 337 as a team at the conference championship, giving the Lions their first AMCC title. The women put together a team score of 300 at the conference championship tournament, also giving the program its first AMCC crown.

Both the men’s and women’s teams swept the individual All-Conference awards as well. For the men, Dustin Fairchild was crowned Swimmer of the Year while fellow teammate A.J. Kondash was awarded the Diver of the Year. Tom Weir was named Newcomer of the Year and Jen Wallace was tabbed Coach of the Year.

On the women’s side, Leah Haller was voted Swimmer of the Year and Michelle Quail earned Diver of the Year. Colby Siebert was the AMCC Newcomer of the Year and Wallace was awarded Coach of the Year.
