Four Named to NTCA All-Academic Team

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's bowling team had four student-athletes named to the 2017-18 National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) All-Academic Team.

Each season the National Tenpin Coaches Association recognizes student athletes who have excelled in the classroom. To be recognized, a student athlete must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.4 or higher for the academic school year. Freshmen Katie Wotus (Crabtree, PA/Greensburg Salem) and Hali Hartley (Seven Fields, PA/Mars), sophomore Bobbi Doubet (Cambridge Springs, PA/Cambridge Springs) and senior Becky Patterson (Erie, PA/Villa Maria Academy) and were honored for their outstanding academic achievement for the Lions.

Behrend completed its inaugural varsity season with a 2-22 overall record and won its first-ever match against Thiel, 620-609 on October 27.
