ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's bowling team will begin the 2018-2019 season on Saturday October 13 at the Bud Whitman Invitational hosted by Kutztown University.  The invitational will run on both Saturday and Sunday October 14.

The invitational has a handful of schools competing in the event including: Penn State Behrend, Kutztown, Molloy, Howard, LIU Brooklyn, Mount St. Mary's, Caldwell, Youngstown State and both St. Francis of Brooklyn and Pennsylvania.  The Bud Whitman Invitational will be held at the Berks Lane in Reading, Pa.

On Saturday, Penn State Behrend will compete in five Baker matches against St. Francis (Pa.)m Chestnut Hill, LIU Brooklyn, Youngstown State, and Adelphi.  Sunday's slate will feature five traditional matches against Duquesne, Medaille, Mount St. Mary's, Caldwell, and Bloomfield.

2018-19 marks the second year of the women's bowling program.  Bobbi Doubet and Hali Hartley return to lead Penn State Behrend.
