ERIE, Pa. - Penn State Behrend hosted Pitt-Bradford on Saturday afternoon at Eastland Bowl. Three traditional matches were played with the Panthers defeated the Lions 2-1 on the day.
Match One:
* Pitt-Bradford won the first match by a score of 748-677.
* Brianna Lundy (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) led PSB with a 208, recording a four-bagger (four straight strikes) to earn the highest score in the match.
* Hali Hartley (Seven Fields, PA/Mars) bowled a 151 in the first match.
Match Two:
* The Lions tallied their second win of the season and first-ever program victory over Pitt-Bradford with a 807-759 final.
* Lundy was again the top bowler overall and for the Lions in the match with a 222, throwing five strikes in a row.
* Taylor Szoszorek (Erie, PA/McDowell) improved by 95 pins, bowling a 198 and putting her two short of 200.
Match Three:
* The Panthers picked up the final win, 822-704
* Lundy completed her strong day leading PSB with a 170 in the third match
* Hartley and Natalie Denny (Harborcreek, PA/Harbor Creek) had their best rounds with a 161 and 135, respectively.
