FORT PIERCE, Fl. – The Penn State Behrend baseball team lost 5-0 Friday morning against Misericordia.

After six scoreless innings, the Cougars (6-3) registered four runs in the seventh to secure a comfortable 4-0 lead over the Lions (2-6).

Misericordia's starter Elliot Forde pitched 8.0 innings, hindering Behrend's offense to record four hits. He managed to strike out four and gave up three walks.

The Cougars platted four runs in the seventh, and one in the eighth to close out the scoring.

Ryan Hamm (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny), Holden Stevanus (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep), David Boehme (Venetia, PA/Seton-La Salle), and Ian Taylor (Wexford, PA/Vincentian Academy) all posted singles in the game.

The Lions will look to bounce back tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. against Immaculata.
