ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend baseball team will travel to New Concord, Ohio to face Muskingum in a non-conference doubleheader on Sunday.

Behrend News & Notes:

* The Lions posted a 3-5 record over spring break in Fort Pierce, Florida
* Freshman pitcher Thomas Zbezinski (Gibsonia, PA/Pine-Richland) made two appearances in the week, pitching 11 innings and only allowing two earned runs on eight hits
* Zbezinski also struck out 15 batters and gave up just three hits in seven innings of work against Hood. For the week, he registered a 1.64 ERA
* Senior Scott Sada (Saegertown, PA/Saegertown), the current career doubles holder, led with nine hits including five doubles in eight games
* Senior hurler Phil Myers (DuBois, PA/DuBois Central Catholic) tallied a pair of wins on the mound last week
* Myers pitched 12.2 innings and struck out eight, allowing just two earned runs for a 1.42 ERA
