MARIETTA, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend baseball team had their season come to an end against No. 4 Marietta, 7-3, in the NCAA Regional Tournament hosted by the Pioneers on Sunday.

* The Pioneers scored seven unanswered runs to advance to the championship series against top-seed Rowan
* The Lions got an early start on Marietta with two runs in the first inning
* After Anthony Slate (Hopewell, PA/Hopwell) walked, Josh Wagner (South Park, PA/South Park) doubled and Colin Harger (Pittsburgh, PA/Shaler) walked to load the bases
* Isaac Stouffer (Punxsutawney, PA / Punxsutawney) reached on a fielder's choice to score Slate while Juston Jones (Moon Township, PA/Moon) singles to send home Wagner for a 2-0 lead
* Behrend kept Marietta off the scoreboard for five innings before adding another run in the top of the sixth
