Stouffer Named AMCC Player of the Week

ERIE, Pa. - The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) named Penn State Behrend corner infielder Isaac Stouffer (Punxsutawney, PA/Punxsutawney) AMCC Player of the Week on Monday.

Stouffer helped the Lions to a 5-0 week to clinch the conference regular-season title and the rights to host the AMCC Tournament. Stouffer logged an RBI in all but one game this past week and drove in multiple runs in three contests. He finished the week with 10 RBIs and having had a hit in each game, he increased his hitting streak to seven games. Offensively, he registered four multi-hit ballgames with six knocks going for extra bases, including two homeruns with a round-tripper against Thiel and La Roche. The homerun against the Redhawks proved to be the game-winning RBI as Stouffer left the yard to give the Lions a 6-5 lead in the top of the seventh. His week concluded with a slash line of .550/.542/1.100, making for a 1.642 OPS.
