ERIE, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend baseball program is excited to once again support Grady's Decision this winter. The baseball program will participate in a NO SHAVE November to raise attention and money for Grady's Decision.
"Every November our team looks forward to the opportunity to raise awareness for Grady's Decision," said senior Evan Bromley. "It is a fun and meaningful way for us to come together in support of Coach Smith's organization and the work it does for families in need."
Grady's Decision was created to help families experiencing premature births as well as those families with children needing specialized medical attention. Grady's Decision can assist with parking costs, food, housing and transportation needs. They serve as a beacon of hope through prayer, words of encouragement, gifts and acts of kindness. Grady's Decision provides an avenue for people to donate and assist these family members during this difficult and emotional time.
"Our program is excited for no shave November in support of Grady's Decision," said head coach Paul Benim. "Alum Ryan Smith is an integral part of our baseball family, and through Grady's Decision he continues to make a positive impact on families in our region every day. Our players, alumni and families and friends have raised financial support for Grady's over the past several years and we are proud to be connected with this incredible organization."
Please consider talking to a Behrend Lions baseball player or contacting coach Paul Benim (prb3@psu.edu) about making a donation to Grady's Decision. You may also visit gradysdecision.com to donate directly.
