ERIE, Pa. – Senior Chris Saltzman was named to the D3hoops.com All-Region team after leading Penn State Behrend's basketball program into the NCAA tournament this season.
Saltzman earned second-team honors in the All-Great Lakes Region. The forward helped the Lions (23-5) to their second-best record in school history, while chipping in 17.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists per contest.
There were nominations from 229 Division III schools for the 2010-11 All-Region teams. Players named to these teams are eligible for the D3hoops.com All-America teams, which will be announced Saturday.
