Saltzman Continues To Rack Up Postseason Accolades

ERIE, Pa. – Chris Saltzman became just the fifth player in Penn State Behrend men's basketball history to be named to the 2011 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District team, announced Wednesday. The NABC recognizes the best men's collegiate basketball student athletes and coaches in the division. Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, these student-athletes represent the finest basketball players across America.

The forward was a first-team pick in the Great Lakes Region. Saltzman was also selected to participate in the Reese's  Division III College All-Star game, which will played as part of the 2011 NCAA Division III men's basketball championships, Saturday, March 19, at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Va.

Saltzman will be accompanied by Michael McClary of Olivet as the only other player selected from the Great Lakes Region to compete on the West team.

"We are really proud of Chris," said head men's basketball coach Dave Niland. "This is a great honor and is truly a reflection of the team and what they've accomplished this year."
