ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend senior forward Chris Saltzman, who has already picked up numerous post season awards, grabbed another being named an Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) South All-Star, announced today. The team is voted on by coaches and sports information directors from the ECAC.
Saltzman was selected to the First Team in the ECAC South Region after averaging 17.1 points per contest. He helped the Lions (23-5) finish with the second-best record in school history en route to a NCAA at-large bid. Saltzman recently played in the NABC All-Star game in Salem, Virginia, as part of the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Final Four weekend.
Saltzman was also named NABC All-District and D3hoops.com All-Region for the Great Lakes, while earning Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Co-Player of the Year and first-team honors.
