ERIE, Pa. – Russ Conley (Transfer, PA/Reynolds) was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Co-Player of the Year, announced today. Conley was also selected to the All-AMCC first team.
Conley, a two-time all-conference selection, was a dominant force in the paint for the Lions all year. He was fourth in the AMCC in scoring (16.7) and field goal percentage (57.5). Conley was in the Top 10 in rebounding, free-throw percentage and blocks.
The junior center also eclipsed the 1,000-point plateau this season and was a two-time AMCC Player of the Week recipient.
Behrend earned its 11th bid to the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament (ECAC) and will travel to Juniata on Wednesday with tip-off set for 8 p.m.
