HILBERT, NY - The Penn State Behrend men's basketball team shot 71.2 percent from the floor to defeat Hilbert 96-54 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Wednesday night.

* The Lions went 37-for-52 from the floor, including a 15-for-25 performance from behind the arc (60.0 percent)
* The win marks the second straight game the Lions have held their opponent under 60 points
* Behrend was four points shy of reaching 100 points for a second consecutive game
Justin Gorny (South Park, PA/South Park) went 7-for-9 had a game-high 21 points to put him four away from reaching his 1,000th career point
* Sophomore Jacob Zeis (Buffalo, NY/Canisius) had a career-high 11 points in just eight minutes of work
* Behrend held a 10-point lead at halftime and exploded for a 56-24 advantage in the second half
