ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's basketball senior Justin Gorny (South Park, PA/South Park) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Week.
Gorny recorded double-digit points during the AMCC Tournament, scoring 13 in the semifinals and a team-best 14 in the championship game. The senior shot 50 percent from the floor and three-point range, while grabbing 11 total rebounds. Gorny scored the Lions' final six points in the title game to help Behrend hold on for the win.
The Lions return to action on Friday when they face Hamilton in the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.
