Gourley Named AMCC Player of the Week

ERIE, Pa. – The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) announced PJ Gourley (Butler. PA/Knoch) as the men's basketball Player of the Week on Monday.

Gourley scored over 20 points in wins over La Roche and Penn State Altoona this past week, including 26 tallies for a career-high against the Altoona Lions while also finishing one rebound shy of a double-double. Gourley finished the week with a 60.7 percent success rate from the field (17-28) and is currently third in the conference in field goal percentage (57.1). Gourley was also perfect from the free-throw line, going 13-for-13 on the week.

The senior forward averaged 24.0 points and six rebounds per game to help the Lions move into first place in the AMCC.
