ERIE, Pa. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced their annual All-District teams on Tuesday with Kenny Fukon (Cranberry Twp., PA/Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic) selected to the second team representing District 7.
Fukon adds another accolade to his resume after earning a roster spot on the NABC-Reese's Division III All-Star team earlier this week. Fukon was named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Co-Player of the Year for his efforts for Behrend this season, helping the Lions to their first regular season title since the 2014-15 season.
Fukon paced Behrend in scoring and was third in the conference with a scoring average of 17.0. He logged six double-doubles and scored in double figures in 19-of-22 games played. Fukon was a key piece in the Lions two Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament games, averaging 15.0 points per game.
Fukon will play in the NABC – Reese's Division III All-Star Game on March 19 in Fort Wayne, IN joining several others as one of the top senior players in the country. To watch the NABC - Reese's All-Star Game, click HERE.
