Men's Golf Takes Second at Mt. Aloysius

CRESSON, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's golf team finished second out of 10 teams with a score of 313 at Mt. Aloysius Invitational on Sunday afternoon.

The Lions were stopped short of their third straight title by the Mounties. The hosts won with a score of 311, two strokes better than Behrend. In third place was La Roche (321) and Thiel came in fourth (327). The individual medalist from Mt. Aloysius carded a low score of 67 for four under par.

Nicholas VanDamia (Erie, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) was the top finisher for the Lions, shooting a 76 and four over par for the course. Freshman Roman Klaric carded a 78 for the second straight tournament, tying for fifth overall.

The Lions return to action Monday at Penn State Altoona.
