WARREN, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend men's golf team battled back from fifth place to finish runners-up with a two-day score of 635 at the 2018 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships at Avalon Lakes Golf and Country Club on Monday.

* The Lions shaved 19 strokes from day one to miss out on their eighth straight championships by nine strokes
* Pitt-Bradford won its third overall championship and first title since 2002
* The Panthers were led by individual medalist Johnny Fiore with a 74-72 (146) total
* Jack Perfett (Moon Township, PA/Moon) moved up seven places to finish fourth overall after carding a team-low 73 on day two (81-73 = 154)
* Alex Pol (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) stayed tied for ninth overall with a 79 on both days (158)
