Lions Compete Twice on Weekend; Behrend Finishes Tied for First at Altoona

CRESSON, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's golf team competed in two Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Tournaments this weekend. The Lions tied for first at the Penn State Altoona Invitational on Saturday and then placed third at the Mt. Aloysius Invitational on Sunday.

Results: Behrend finishes tied for first out of 15 teams

Key Moments:

* Behrend took home the runner up trophy after tying with Pitt-Bradford with a team score of 310
* The scorecard tiebreaker came down to the No. 1 golfers scores after the No. 5 golfers were tied
* Ryan Meyer (Sewickley, PA/North Allegheny) carded a team-low score of 75 to claim the individual runner up trophy
* The Lions had three golfers in the Top 10
* Pitt-Bradford won the tiebreaker to take home the team trophy
