Men's Golf Captures Oswego State Invitational; Pol Claims Individual Title

OSWEGO, NY – The Penn State Behrend men's golf team went from third place to take first place on the final day of the Oswego State Fall Invitational held on Sunday at the Oswego Country Club.

Results: Behrend wins the Oswego State Fall Invitational with a score of 608

Key Moments:

* The Behrend Lions won the Invitational with a combined score of 305 and 303 on day two for a 608
* Alex Pol (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) was tied for sixth overall after day one and then finished par for the course on day two to win the individual championship
* Pol won with a score of 147 to edge out second-place finisher Chris Rust of Clarkson by one stroke
* Garrett Schlick (Harmony, PA/Seneca Valley) was sixth overall with a 151 (74-77), while Ryan Meyer (Sewickley, PA/North Allegheny) got a Top 10 finish with a 153 for eighth place
* SUNY Delhi was in second place with a 609 and Oswego went from second to third with a 621
