WARREN, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend men's golf team finished in third place at the 2019 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships at Avalon Lakes Golf and Country Club on Monday afternoon.

* The reigning champions Pitt-Bradford defended its title with a seven stroke lead over second place Penn State Altoona
* The Lions had six birdies on the day and was one stroke behind Pitt-Bradford through 10-13 holes
* Behrend was the only team with three golfers in the Top 10
* Garrett Schlick (Harmony, PA/Seneca Valey) had an eagle on this third hole, a par 5 (500 yards). Schlick was even through the first seven holes and managed to finish third overall to pace the Behrend squad
* Senior JT Kuchnicki (Pittsburgh, PA/Montour) was tied with Cary Ignaczak of Pitt-Bradford for first place after day one and finished tied for sixth overall
