ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's golf team tallied a team score of 346 to finish seventh out of nine teams at the Gannon Spring Invitational held at Whispering Woods Golf Club on Thursday afternoon.

* The Lions were one of two Division III teams competing at the invitational
* Gannon won the tournament with a low score of 303
Ryan Johnson (Centre Hall, PA/Penns Valley) led Behrend on the course with a team-low 78
* Johnson tallied a top-10 finish, tying for eighth place
* Second on the team Dominic DeBone (Murrysville, PA/Franklin Regional)
* DeBone shot an 87 from the fourth spot to tie for 30th overall
Alex Pol (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) finished with an 88 for fourth on the team
* Overall, Pol tied for 32nd place
Jake Caldwell (Belle Vernon, PA/Belle Vernon) managed a 93 for the par 72 course to tied for 39th
