Worthy, Crivelli Earn All-Region Honors

ERIE, Pa. – Two Penn State Behrend men's soccer players were named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division III All-Great Lakes Region Team.

Senior defender Mike Worthy (Pittsburgh, PA/Upper St. Clair) earned first-team honors while junior forward Anthony Crivelli (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) earned a spot on the third team.

Worthy was a third-team selection last year and continued to be the backbone of the Lions' defense again this season. He started in all 22 games, to tie the all-time games played record at Behrend (87). Worthy scored one goal and added one assist from his defensive position. He helped the team post 11 shutouts and only allowed 15 goals.

Crivelli is making his first appearance on the All-Region team. The three-time All-AMCC selection led the Lions with 30 points this season. Only a junior, Crivelli has asserted himself into the Behrend record books. He currently ranks second in career goals (37), third in career points (88), fourth in single season points (27) and tied for sixth in career assists (14).
