ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's soccer goalkeeper Chris Ralph (Murrysville, PA/Franklin Regional) was named to the 2017 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Men's Scholar All-East Region second team.
Ralph's success in the classroom as a project and supply chain major with a 3.60 cumulative GPA, coupled with his accomplishments on the field, gave him second-team honors. Ralph started 18 games this season for the Lions, posting eight shutouts with a goals-against average of .73.
To be nominated, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) throughout his or her career, start more than 50 percent of all games and be a significant contributor to the team.
