ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's soccer team announced their schedule for the upcoming 2018 season.
The Lions will host the annual Herb Lauffer Memorial Tournament Friday, August 31 and Saturday, September 1st open up the season, taking on Houghton in game one and Geneseo on day two. Behrend will face five non-conference opponents (John Carroll, Hiram, Geneva, Allegheny, Grove City), before diving into the bulk of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) schedule.
The Lions host regional-rival Carnegie Mellon on October 2 at 7 p.m. and then finish the remaining six conference games. The schedule features home conference games against Medaille, Pitt-Greensburg, Pitt-Bradford and Penn State Altoona.
Behrend won the AMCC regular-season title and made their eighth appearance in the ECAC Tournament last season The Lions finished with a 16-5-1 record along with a perfect 9-0 mark in AMCC play.
