Behrend Lions Remain No. 10 in Great Lakes Region

ERIE, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend men's soccer team remained ranked in this week's United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Great Lakes Region rankings.  PSB came in at No. 10 in the Great Lakes Region as announced by the United Soccer Coaches on Tuesday September 25.  Penn State Behrend has been regionally ranked for three consecutive weeks.

Overall, Penn State Behrend stands 5-2-2, 1-0-1 AMCC in 2018.  The Behrend Lions have key wins over #24 John Carroll, Allegheny, and Houghton.  The Behrend Lions opened Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference play this past Saturday with a 5-1 triumph at La Roche College.  On Tuesday, September 25, Penn State Behrend went toe-to-toe with AMCC rival Medaille College for 110 minutes.  Neither team was able to score and the game resulted in a scoreless draw.

Penn State Behrend will take on AMCC-foe Pitt-Greensburg at home on Saturday September 29 at 4:15 p.m. before hosting Carnegie Mellon on Tuesday October 2.  Carnegie Mellon is currently ranked No. 2 in the Great Lakes Region and No. 13 in the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Men's Top 25 National Poll.
