Men’s Soccer Faces Medaille in AMCC Championship Saturday

ERIE, Pa. – A rivalry renewed.  Penn State Behrend and Medaille College will meet once again, this time in the 2018 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Final on Saturday, November 3, at 2:30 p.m.

The No. 1 seed Behrend Lions are playing in their 12th straight AMCC Tournament Final.  No. 2 seed Medaille will be looking to repeat as AMCC Tournament Champions.

No. 1 Penn State Behrend News & Notes

*
The Behrend Lions have won seven straight games heading into Saturday's showdown.
* This season, PSB has compiled a record of 13-3-2.
* Penn State Behrend topped No. 4 seed Franciscan 5-2 in the AMCC Semifinals.
* Penn State Behrend senior goalie Chris Ralph ranks second in the AMCC with a .813 save percentage.  He has only allowed 12 goals this season with ranks first in the league.
* Freshman Logan Brinsky leads Penn State Behrend with eight goals this season.
* These two teams played to a scoreless draw in their previous matchup in late September.

No. 2 Medaille College News & Notes

* The Mavericks are looking for their second consecutive berth in the NCAA Division III Tournament on Saturday.
* The Mavericks rallied to defeat No. 3 seed Mt. Aloysius 2-1 in the AMCC Semifinals. 
* Maverick freshman Lachlan Beever leads the AMCC with 20 goals and 43 points this season.
* Mitchell Ali ranks second in the league with 12 goals and 33 points.
* Last season, Medaille topped Penn State Behrend in the AMCC Championship Game after a penalty kick shootout.  The Mavericks won the shootout 5-4.
