Trio of Men's Soccer Players Named All-Region

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's soccer players Chris Ralph (Murrysville, PA/Franklin), Aaron Harris (Washington, PA/McGuffey) and Dakota Lange (Apollo, PA/Kiski) were selected to the 2018 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III All-Great Lakes Region Team.

Ralph was named to the second team, while Harris and Lange were chosen to the third team after leading the Lions to their first-ever sectional semifinals appearance and winning the program's ninth Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) title.

Ralph is earning his third All-Region honor. The senior goalkeeper was named to the first team his sophomore and junior year. Ralph was once again named AMCC Defensive Player of the Year and landed on the All-AMCC first team. He ranked first in the conference with a .809 save percentage and a 15 wins in between the pipes. Ralph started in all but one game and made 72 saves to go along with nine shutouts.

Lange and Harris are making their first appearance on the All-Region Team after both were named to the All-AMCC first team long with Ralph. Lange led the team with 21 points, tying for first with nine goals and dishing out three assists. The senior power forward is credited with three game-winning goals, including the game winner in a 1-0 decision over John Carroll to propel Behrend into the sectional semifinals.

Harris controlled the midfield for the Lions this season, adding four goals and four assists for 12 points. He scored a pair of goals, including the game winner against Pitt-Bradford this season. Harris tallied the lone goal against Calvin in the sectional semifinals.
