Erie, Pa. - Penn State Behrend men's soccer coach Dan Perritano and 22-year old daughter Emma are embarking on their fifth journey this summer. The duo is walking 320-miles across Colorado from Wyoming to New Mexico, approximately 22 days, to help raise funds for Ainsley's Angels of America. The goal is to raise enough funds to purchase one or even two running Hoyt Blades like Emma's for Ainsley Angels riders in Colorado.
Ainsley's Angels is committed to building awareness about America's special needs community through the inclusion in all aspects of life, by promoting awareness, providing an education, and participating as active members in local communities.
Dan is pushing Emma in her Team Hoyt running chair, a custom-built chair designed for physically-challenged individuals that was purchased through a grant from ACHIEVA.
