ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's soccer team welcomes the Mt. Aloysius Mounties on Saturday for the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) opener for both teams. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m.

Penn State Behrend News & Notes:

* Behrend picked up a non-conference road win over Grove City on Wednesday night
* Senior forward Logan Brinsky (Canonsburg, PA/Peters Township) and Justin Hockenberger (Spencerport, NY/Spencerport) each tallied a goal in the 2-0 victory
* Brinsky gave the Lions a 1-0 lead off a penalty-kick goal in the 76th minute
* Ten minutes later, Hockenberger added an insurance goal with an unassisted tally for the final margin
* Goalie Sam York (Akron, OH/Revere) made six saves on nine shots to preserve the shutout for his third win
* York leads the AMCC in three categories: first in save percentage (.828), first in goals against (5) and goals-against average (0.98)

Mt. Aloysius News & Notes

* The Mounties enter the contest with a 1-2-3 overall record
* Mt. Aloysius has tied RIT (2-2), Bethany (1-1) and Geneva (1-1)
* Against the Golden Tornadoes, Jesper Stevenson tallied the lone goal and Luke Priestley made eight saves to keep the game at 1-all on Wednesday
* Priestly ranks second, behind York, in save percentage in the AMCC ( .794)

* Behrend has won the last five contests against the Mounties for a 17-1-1 overall record
* The Lions defeated Mt. Aloysius twice in 2019, 1-0 in the regular season and 4-0 in the AMCC semifinals
