ERIE, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend men's soccer team announces their schedule for the upcoming 2022 season.
The Lions will host the annual Herb Lauffer Memorial Tournament Friday, September 2 and Saturday, September 3 to open the season, taking on Franciscan in game one on Friday at 2 p.m. Behrend will face seven non-conference opponents (Waynesburg, Mt. Union, Grove City, Chatham, Geneva, Marietta, John Carroll) to close out the month of September. The Lions will travel to Mt. Aloysius for the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) opener on Saturday, October 1.
Behrend will travel to non-conference Hiram and Houghton while finishing the remaining six conference games throughout the entire month of October. The schedule features home conference games against La Roche, Alfred State, Hilbert, and Pitt-Greensburg for Senior Day.
Behrend finished the 2021 season with a 13-6 overall record and a 7-1 AMCC mark. The Lions also made their eighth appearance in the ECAC Tournament.
