ERIE, Pa. – Sophomores Meghan Wade (Berea, OH/Berea) and Andrew Neder (Erie, PA/Fairview) have been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Divers of the Week.
Neder was the Male Diver of the Week for the seventh time this season. He earned scores of 162.85 and 232.50 on the three-meter board for first place vs. Pitt-Bradford, before sweeping the one-meter boards scores of 144.45 for five dives and 250.55 for six dives.
Wade was chosen Female Diver of the Week for a fifth time in 2013. She set a pool record with an NCAA qualifying dive score of 452.05 for a combined 11 dives on the three-meter board in the win over the Panthers on Saturday. Wade's combined score for 11 dives on the one-meter board on Sunday vs. Mt. Union was also an NCAA cut total of 413.6.
The Lions return to action on Saturday at St. Vincent. Meet time is 1 p.m.
