ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend freshman Matthew Kuchcinski (North East, PA/North East) was named Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) North Division III Rookie of the Week, announced on Wednesday.
Kuchcinski posted two first-place finishes in both the one-meter and three-meter dives against St. Vincent last week, finishing with scores of 223.70 and 247.20, respectively. He also notched two second-place finishes against Malone, recording a 222.50 score in the one-meter, and a 236.95 in the three-meter.
The men's swimming and diving team returns to action when they host the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships on February 14.
