NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's swimming and diving team dropped its first dual meet of the season, falling to Westminster 160-134 in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.

* The Lions won six out of the 16 events
* Matt Karenbauer (Butler, PA/Knoch) and Chase Bietz (Clearfield, PA/Clearfield) each won two individual events for the Lions
 * Bietz also picked up a relay victory along with Quinn Fischer (Fairview, PA/Cathedral Prep),  Alex Croll (Honolulu, HI/Parkland) and Nathan Wagner (Ypsilanti, MI/Lincoln) in the final 200 free relay (1:29.82)

First-Place Finishers:

* Karenbauer – 200 butterfly (2:05.74), 100 butterfly (55.68)
* Bietz – 100 breaststroke (59.33), 200 breaststroke (2:10.84)
* James Connolly (Allentown, PA/Parkland) – 1000 freestyle (10:33.04)
