ERIE, Pa. – The Division II Gannon men's swimming team celebrated Senior Day with the Penn State Behrend Lions on Saturday. The Golden Knights managed a 174-82 victory in the Junker Pool.

* The Golden Knights took first place in all 16 events on the day
* Cooper Thomas (Jamestown, NY/Southwestern Central) led Behrend with a second-place finish in the 1000 freestyle (11:11.54)
* In the 50 freestyle, Justin Heller (Franklin, PA/Rocky Grove) touched in 22.34 for second plac
* Dan Tanaskovic (Pittsburgh, PA/Central Valley) was the top swimmer for the Lions in the 100 freestyle, taking runner up with a time of 50.16
* Jake Schmidt (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) and Matt Karenbauer (Butler, PA/Knoch) individually took second in the 500 freestyle and the 100 butterfly, respectively
* Schmidt tallied a time of 4:57.61 in the 500 while Karenbauer swam 54.30 in the 100 butterfly
* Schmidt, Karenbauer, Heller and Jake Eshelman (Franklin, PA/Franklin) had a time of 1:29.63 in the final 200 freestyle relay for second place
