Men's Tennis Heads to Nazareth in Non-Conference Action

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's tennis team will travel to Nazareth for a non-conference match today at 4 p.m.

Penn State Behrend News & Notes:

* The Behrend Lions dropped their season and home opener to Baldwin Wallace, 9-0, on Saturday 
* Belden Tuttle and Mitchell May each won four game points at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively, against the Yellow Jackets.
* The Lions returns three all-conference performers from last season's squad   
* Behrend tallied a 13-8 overall record last year and finished runners-up at the AMCC Championships
* Head Coach Jeff Barger enters his 21st season with the Lions. He was honored this summer with the USTA Middle States Allegheny Mountain District Award

Nazareth News & Notes:

* Today's match is the season opener for the Golden Flyers
* Nazareth will face Behrend and RIT in the lone two matches for the fall season
* The Golden Flyers finished 4-12 last year
* Nazareth fell 8-1 to the Lions in the season opener in 2017
