ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's tennis team earned a 6-3 win over Westminster in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon at Westwood Racquet Club.

Noteworthy:

* The Behrend Lions had three players with double wins
* The Lions won two doubles and four singles matches to halt the Titans from getting a season-opening victory
* Michael Ducket (Girard, PA/Fairview), Jimmy Lobdell (Warren, PA/Warren) and Belden Tuttle (Fairview, PA/Fairview) got a win at singles and doubles
* Duckett got a 6-0, 6-2 decision at No. 3 singles and also paired up with Noah Colvin (Warren, PA/Warren) for an 8-5 score at No. 2 doubles
* Lobdell, competing at No. 5 singles, earned a 6-4, 6-1 victory after teaming with Tuttle for an 8-4 doubles decision in the third spot
* Tuttle went undefeated in singles action this weekend, posting a 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 6 today
* Mitchell May (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) managed a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles to complete the match
