ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's tennis team fell 5-1 to Franciscan in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Semifinals on Saturday afternoon at Westwood Racquet Club.

Records: Franciscan (9-12), Penn State Behrend (6-13)

Key Moments:

* Mitchell May (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) and Brett McFarland (Austinburg, OH/Geneva) tallied the lone win for the Lions at No. 1 double
* May and McFarland won 8-7 thanks to a 7-3 tiebreaker set
* The Barons had a slight lead after a close set of doubles matches
* Noah Colvin (Warren, PA/Warren) and Michael Duckett (Girard, PA/Fairview) were within three sets at No. 2 doubles, falling 8-5
* Lonny Diaz (Panama City, Panama/Colegio Episcopal) and Sebastian Alba (Cochabamba, Bolivia/Cochabamba Cooperative School) also fell short at the third spot, 8-6
