Tuttle, May Named to All-AMCC Men's Tennis Team

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's tennis team had two players named to the 2019 All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Team, announced on Tuesday.

Sophomore Belden Tuttle (Fairview, PA/Fairview) was selected to the first team at No. 6 singles and freshman Mitchell May (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) was chosen to the second team at No. 4 singles. Both are earning their first All-AMCC honors this season.

Tuttle was undefeated in AMCC play at the No. 6 spot at 4-0. The sophomore tallied a 5-1 AMCC mark in singles action and led the team with overall wins at 12-6. At the No. 6 spot, Tuttle posted an 8-1 overall record. He also went 3-3 at No. 5 singles and posted a win at No. 4 singles.

May posted a 4-1 AMCC record overall and had a 3-0 mark at No. 4 singles. He ranked second on the team with a 7-10 overall record in singles action. May also went 3-4 at No. 3 singles this season.
