Three Named to All-AMCC Men's Tennis Team

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's tennis team had three players selected to the 2021 All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Team, announced on Thursday.

Senior Belden Tuttle (Fairview, PA/Fairview) was selected to the first team at No. 5 singles, after being named to the first team in No. 6 singles in 2019. Sophomore Matthew Brown (Oviedo, FL/Paul J. Hagerty) joined Tuttle on the first team for singles at the No. 4 spot.

Tuttle and Michael Brudy (Gibsonia, PA/Pine-Richland) earned singles and doubles honors. The duo landed on the first team at No. 2 doubles, while Brudy was named to the second team at No. 3 singles.

Tuttle was undefeated in AMCC play at the No. 5 spot at 4-0. He tallied a 5-1 overall singles mark, collecting a win at number four. He also had a perfect doubles record in conference play at 4-0 with Brudy. Overall, the duo posted five straight wins this season at the No. 2 spot. Brudy was also selected to the All-AMCC second team at No. 3 singles. He only dropped one conference match to get a 3-1 mark. Brudy went 4-1 at No. 3 this season and finished 4-2 overall.

Brown led the AMCC at No. 4 singles with a 3-0 record and ended the season on a four-match winning streak in singles concluding the season at 4-1 overall.
